Clear answers about Paravel, vault participation, fees, withdrawals, and the risks of PayFi lending.
No. You cannot deposit if you are a Prohibited Person — broadly, anyone under 18, anyone on a sanctions or restricted party list, and anyone in a comprehensively sanctioned jurisdiction. The full list is in Section 3 of the Interface Terms of Use.
Not through the ordinary route. These are Restricted Jurisdictions and Vault functionality is not available in them by default.
There is a limited exemption for people who qualify as an Eligible Investor — a professional client or elective professional client, an accredited investor, a permitted client, or a wholesale client, depending on the jurisdiction. Qualifying requires completing an attestation and verification, and approval is at Paravel's discretion and can be refused or withdrawn.
The availability of this route differs between jurisdictions and depends on local law. Access to this page and to Vault functionality is granted only once the eligibility check on the Interface has been completed.
No. Attempting to conceal your location or circumvent the eligibility restrictions is a breach of the Interface Terms of Use. If we determine that you have done so, we may suspend your access, decline to transmit transactions, and compulsorily redeem your Vault Interest.
To be clear about what that does and does not mean: compulsory redemption returns your money at net asset value. We do not claim any right to confiscate or forfeit your assets in any circumstance.
Identity, beneficial ownership, source of funds and source of wealth, investor classification, and tax status, together with any updates we ask for. We may ask at any time, including in response to a request from a bank, a payment institution, a counterparty or a regulator.
If you don't provide it, or we can't verify it, we may decline further deposits, suspend processing of your redemption request until verification is complete, and ultimately compulsorily redeem your Vault Interest.
